City of Valencia uses reachability analysis to manage easing of lockdown measures
Targomo is proud to support the city of Valencia, Spain, and its citizens, who can now see which areas they can visit as lockdown measures are eased and the coronavirus pandemic abates. People can easily check which areas they can visit in 30 minutes on foot, by bike or by car.
The institute Càtedra Govern Obert (Open Government Chair), of the Universitat Politècnica de València (UPV, Polytechnic University of Valencia), and a Valencia department used Targomo’s API service and Open Street Map data to develop the tool.
Great work by Nuria Portillo Poblador of Càtedra Govern Obert and Fernando Benitez, who jointly led the project, and the team of Servicio de Transparencia y Gobierno Abierto (Transparency and Open Government Service Department) of the Ajuntament de València (Valencia City Council).
