ContrailRisks was founded in Berlin to make cybersecurity leadership accessible to organisations that need strategic guidance but can’t afford, or don’t require, a full-time security executive. After more than a decade working across Europe in consulting, financial services, and large enterprises, our founder saw the same recurring problem: companies struggle to navigate complex regulatory requirements, modernise their security architecture, and build resilience while scaling their business. ContrailRisks exists to close that gap.

Our mission is to provide clear, pragmatic and executive-level cybersecurity and risk advisory that helps organisations grow safely.

Long-term, we aim to evolve into a European boutique known for bridging strategy, regulation, and technology, offering vCISO leadership, cyber-resilience assessments, and AI-risk advisory across multiple industries.

ContrailRisks delivers a productised vCISO and cyber-risk advisory service that gives organisations executive-level security leadership without the cost or overhead of a full-time hire. Our offering combines strategic guidance, regulatory expertise (ISO 27001, ISO 42001, DORA, NIS2, CMMC, SCF, etc), and hands-on security architecture support.
