Fabrikatör is the first Virtual Head of Operations for eCommerce brands. As founders, we developed software solutions for SMEs and witnessed their struggle to access the technologies that big enterprises have. After working with SMEs for the last 8 years, we decided to build a solution to democratize industry-grade technologies for them to utilize their true potential while competing with others. Our software not only helps online merchants (digital SMEs) to get better at what they are doing but also minimizes the waste in production and logistics and contributes towards building “good businesses” for a better future.

Even the most successful DTC founders have stories about supply issues nearly killing their businesses. It's undeniable: the supply chain is complex and hard to predict. As mentioned above, we are committed to building technologies that turn supply operations into strengths rather than a nightmare.

Our mission is to build virtually the smartest Head of Operations to save e-commerce businesses from out-of-stocks.

Growing online stores struggle with accurately allocating their working capital in inventory and marketing. This is due to the gap between supply chain and marketing data. As a result, they run out of stock and their growth momentum slows down.

As a category-defining solution, Fabrikatör positions itself as the Virtual Head of Operations for eCommerce. Fabrikatör enables online stores to plan their supply chain in line with their growth targets by bridging this gap between marketing and supply chain. Fabrikatör generates AI-based operational plans and automates the inventory planning, purchasing, and budgeting processes. Overall, Fabrikatör is the Virtual Head of Operations that saves online merchants from hours of weekly manual work and gives accurate guidance, and execution. Fabrikatör's main solutions are as follows:

- Forecasting: Not knowing when to restock each SKU is the main problem we are focusing on. Our forecasting feature tells merchants what to restock, when, and how many!

- Custom Reports: Inventory data is not easy to reach or understand for many merchants. Our custom reports allow them to create the reports they need in a matter of seconds.

- Default Reports: Prepared by e-commerce experts based on the most useful and must-have reports each successful merchant has.

- Backorder: Merchants lose revenue when they use “notify me” buttons for out-of-stock products. We turn out-of-stock into a revenue stream with backorders.

- Goal Setting: Merchants can get carried with the daily operations and forget about their targets. We help them to have a measurable path to growth with the goal-setting feature.

- Stock Alerts: Running out-of-stock is a huge problem, our stock alerts take a simple approach to solve this problem and send two emails a day with stock alerts.

- Dead Stock Identifier: Deadstock locks in the capital for the merchants and hurts their growth. We clearly show which products they should be focused on selling or recycling in order to optimize their inventory.

- User & Growth Friendly POs: Knowing when, in what quantity, and which SKUs to order takes time and is open to human error. Fabrikatör provides recommendations for creating purchase orders, in addition to the manual creation process. We offer a plain purchase order interface for merchants to easily create, share, follow up on, and update their purchase orders.

The founders of Fabrikatör have known each other since their university years when they studied Management Information System together. They have been building digital products for SMEs for the last decade, which is their core strength. Demirhan Aydin was previously the tech lead at Paraşüt, a leading SME accounting software in Turkey which had an exit. Bahadir Efeoglu previously worked at Marley Spoon, a D2C company in the food industry, where he closely worked with the supply chain and product teams.

Furthermore, the founders previously developed a manufacturing management software for suppliers of eCommerce brands, which provided them with a deep understanding of the supply side of the market. This experience has been instrumental in their current work of developing a solution that combines both the supply and demand planning aspects of eCommerce operations. It is this unique combination of expertise that sets them apart from competitors and is the key factor for their current and future success.

Currently, Bahadir Efeoglu is the CEO and focuses on expansion and sales while Demirhan Aydin serves as the CTO, leading the development of Fabrikatör's virtual head of operations for eCommerce.

The team is globally distributed as the company operates with a remote-first culture, with most of the team members based in Turkey while the co-founders and HQ are located in Germany.
