Grunetal GmbH

Grunetal GmbH is a German software company. Its makers built and rolled out four data platforms for model-based development at vehicle manufacturers and suppliers. Ref is the fifth.

Ref is at home in robotics and automation, energy technology and mechanical engineering, and with the engineering service providers working for them.

Ref runs in the Microsoft ecosystem, in the European region of your choice. The pilot runs on your own data and costs nothing.

Grunetal's Ref is a collaboration platform for model based systems engineering, covering the full development cycle. We designed Ref for the AI R&D age, where teams iterate fast with agentic execution, and virtual development throughput is massive.

Ref is built for emerging industries, to keep development coordinated as product and processes change. This also means that you can start right away, without installation.

Agents do the work inside your engineering data. They read requirements, start simulation and test runs, compare results and file what comes out. Every run carries its inputs, its code and its environment, so any result can be reproduced and any decision traced back to the evidence behind it.

Your tools stay yours. Solvers and scripts keep running, interfaces stay open, and your data stays yours to export at any time.
