Holyo is a Germany-based fintech focussed on commerce with digital vouchers. We unlock a multi-billion dollar industry for tens of thousands of resellers by making vouchers of international brands available in emerging markets and by removing barriers of entry.

We are on a mission to financially and technically enable resellers and their millions of points of sale in emerging markets to participate in the growth of the digital economy and allow all consumers to participate therein.

Vouchers are the digital version of a gift card, also known as keys, pins, codes or gift tokens. They can be used as an alternative source for money at a particular store (physical or online) for purchases related to goods or services. Given their digital nature and unique economics, vouchers are also ideal as a cheaper and faster alternative to remittance transfers.

Niels Oeft (Founder) - CEO & Finance

Niels is a pioneer of the digital voucher business. He successfully grew the business in DE, AT and CH and developed a patented anti-fraud payment system.

Jens Garberding (Co-Founder) - Sales & Marketing

Jens joined from Google in October 2019 where he oversaw Google Play’s retail and payments business in Europe, Middle East and Africa valued at several hundred million dollars.

Torsten Rülke - Engineering

Torsten joined the team in 2013. He is the dot.net certified mastermind and architect behind the proprietary software of Holyo.com.

Amal Ahmed - Business Development and Customer Support

As our Middle East expert Amal manages our local partners and customers and helps us to bridge cultures.
