We can neglect it, push it to the back or consider it unnecessary. The only thing we cannot do is to ignore it, because we are all confronted with it and have to deal with it sooner or later. The subject is financial education.

But aren't we living in a time where everyone should be able to acquire exactly the financial knowledge they need? With all the books, videos and other sources, shouldn't that be easy? Unfortunately, this is not the case. Because whether high school graduates, trainees, students or career starters, in short "young professionals", they all have one thing in common, bad financial education. For this reason, we have made it to our mission to create a world in which everyone is financially educated and makes the best out of his or her financial situation. A vision that drives the entire team every morning and night they go through.

Finucate was not created for monetary reasons. We developed this concept together with our target group and out of our own pain. The pain of not having learned anything about financial education in school, training or university. Finucate is not just an app for us, it is a matter of the heart and the beginning of a social change.

An app that reduces financial topics to the most important key statements so that you can understand and apply them immediately.

The variety of categories ranges from taxes, pension plans, asset classes to the analysis of the financial market. Each individual category adapts to the user's level of knowledge and individual situation. Because as research shows, our brain only classifies information as relevant when it is in direct context with reality or our current situation.

In the conception of the content, we rely on gamification, as well as textual and auditive elements. These can be flexibly integrated into everyday life, regardless of whether you are a playful, visual or auditive learning type.

The aim of the app is to make the central points of each subject area clear and subsequently confirm them in a meaningful way with applicable examples from practice. In this way, the user will be able to easily remember the bigger picture and apply content directly to his or her own life. In short, the content adapts to the brain's way of thinking.

Finucate users can save the time of searching through complex and long explanations to find the content that is relevant to them. This approach is strongly oriented towards the new habits of learning, as knowledge is usually consumed within a very short time.

Manuel Haynes, Co-Founder and CTO of Finucate covers the areas of informatics, UX, design and online marketing. He understands which psychological aspects need to be taken into account in the app, in order to achieve the best possible user experience.

He was already able to test this knowledge in the programming of some apps during his studies. The base for this know-how is his bachelor's degree in digital media marketing and his master's degree in human-centered computing, which he will complete in 2021.

Sinan Preuß, Founder and CEO of Finucate is the out-of-the-box thinker and innovator. Growing up in an entrepreneurial family, he was born into entrepreneurship, so to speak. He covers the areas of product, content, sales and strategy. Through his bachelor's degree in industrial engineering with a focus on product (graduating in 2021), he brings the necessary skills and knowledge needed to build a strong brand and in turn make it known to potential customers.

Through practical projects on the development of products including sales, market entry strategy and content creation, he has the know-how of what strategies are needed to convince customers of the product. This knowledge was strengthened and deepened by various training courses in the field of start-up, a one-year employment in a marketing department, as well as the activity as a headhunter.

Michael Bässler supports the team in software architecture, programming, innovation and patent strategy. He combines a total of 19 years of professional experience at IBM in these areas. Initially, he acted as a mentor, but after a successful collaboration, he was inspired to take a shorter working time at his employer IBM and to invest the newly gained time in Finucate.

Markus Schumacher acts as a sparring partner in app development. He has been active in this area for more than 17 years, 10 of which as a manager. He supports Manuel Haynes mainly in the programming of the basic structure and is available to him at any time in case of ambiguities.

Philipp Bergdoll contributes as a student developer. He is currently studying Digital Media Marketing (70% Computer Science, 30% Marketing) for his Bachelor's degree. Through various private projects he could already gain experience in software and web development. This includes the creation and operation of a webshop and streaming portal.

The 360 Ventures GmbH and the Entrepreneur University represent the Advisor Board of Finucate. They are a construct that acts as sparring partners for Finucate. They are already successful in the market with a platform for the same target group as Finucate serves, for the topic of entrepreneurship and personal development. Now they support Finucate to achieve the same success. Furthermore, they provide a network of top-class financial experts and companies.
