PT1 is a fully independent early-stage venture capital platform that fuels #Futurebuilders on their mission to shape transformative technologies for real asstes, generating double returns for its investors and society.

As the requirements between the asset classes real estate, infrastructure and energy converge more and more, technologies at their intersection are under high demand: Scalable net-zero modernisation of existing property in danger to become stranded assets, next-level risk assessment platforms as a reaction to exploding climate change damages or carbon capture solutions that intelligently use existing real estate to operate more efficiently are just a few examples that come to mind where the built world can have a significant impact on solving the current mega challenges.

To find, fund and fuel these innovations, PT1 has formed an agile, curious and entrepreneurial team from 7 different nationalities based in Berlin and London. PT1's venture capital platform is built on profound understanding of its focus sector thanks to 1) their proprietary data base and deal flow on real assets technologies, 2) multiple industry veterans in the team such as Klaus Freiberg (former COO Vonovia) or Timo Tschammler (former CEO JLL Germany), 3) international fund investors ranging from real estate corporates, banks, institutional investors to SMEs like Commerz Real, Baloise, Liechtenstein Group, JLL Spark or PwC, and of course 4) a growing community of #Futurebuilders young and old.
